Confusion can result in some instances when overlapping information from other planes of reality are of an intensity which allow them to feel as substantial as what we experience in this physical existence. An example might be when such confusion takes place in children of social ages, they are often judged by peers and adults as lacking social skills.
*
When considered to be unusual or an outcast by a seeming inability in conforming to societal standards of behavior, these kids might be off alone at social gathers, appear to be talking with themselves, and seeming fearful of other children and adults. They come up with stories that are interpreted by family and friends as fantasy, science fiction and related to imaginary friends. Not uncommonly these kids may be labeled autistic, with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder or with other special needs.
*
Often overlooked is the fact that these children can be highly intelligent in specific fields, incredibly creative and highly productive with just a little guidance.
