When a child or an adult for that matter is acting in a way that appears odd or antisocial, they might in fact be reacting to what is being sensed (interpreted) from another person or environment, a result of their connection to Divine Consciousness.
*
They may clearly be seeing, feeling, hearing and knowing “what is not being said” in social interactions.
*
While most people have learned social graces even in the face of knowing someone is not telling the truth or saying what they really mean, they have agreed by consensus to accept this and continue to be gracefully appropriate and social. With a child or person who remains more connected to that place of their origin and at the same time less able to differentiate what is being said to them in contrast to what they feel or know to be true on some deeper level (you can call it intuition if it’s more comfortable), rather than act confrontational and contrary to social etiquette, they might just run away. This would then be viewed as socially odd. The person who is talking with them might be thinking, “Why didn’t that child (person) interact with me while I was talking to him (even though I wasn’t meaning what I was saying)?”
